Fri-Sun 30 Oct - 1 Nov 2009 -  OK, PB has just been on and here is the bet for the weekend. He does fancy the Ospreys at home to Glasgow even though they have a heap of players missing - he rates the replacements pretty highly - but Glasgow are at full strength and you can't be entirely sure of which Ospreys team will 'turn up'! Accordingly, he has left that game out and the same applies for the Connacht - Scarlets encounter, not so much the team selections as the unpredictability of Connacht at home. You will notice that...read more in 'This week's bets'

Tues 22nd September 2009 - We will be providing a handicap treble on the 3 Welsh Premiership games tonight. Check back soon in the Forum.

From next weekend Fri 25th / Sat 26th September, we shall be providing selections from the Welsh Premiership using the betting markets provided by Paddy Power. PB says "I know more about this league than any other". Selections will appear in the Forum on the eve or morning of the matches.

Fri 18th / Sat 19th September 2009 - Selections are online now in the Forum. There is huge confidence on 2 of the 5 games this weekend so check out what PB is saying.

Friday 11th / Sunday 13th September 2009 - New season, new profits. PB picked 5 out of 5 in the Magners League this weekend but you'll have to take my word for it as neither of us placed a bet and he wasn't confident enough to share his thoughts so early in the new campaign. This season, PB will be concentrating almost entirely on the Magners League in conjunction with the Welsh Premiership - his real strengths. Needlesstosay, the Six Nations will again be the exception to this rule, see the betting slip photograph below! This weekend's tips will appear in the Forum on Thurs/Fri. The bet will, as usual, be a handicap accumulator but this time around we will be using the odds and handicaps from just the Big 3 bookmakers - Hills, Ladbrokes and Corals. This makes his job harder but yours much easier!

Saturday 11th April / Sunday 12th April 2009 - Heineken Cup Quarter-Finals. See the Forum for the 4 games' bets this weekend or click HERE. Update - Ignominy for PB, see 'Past Results'

Saturday April 4th, 2009  Apart from L'Ami each way in the Grand National, The Analyzer will be having a bet on 2 Magners League games this Saturday. To see his bets, click here. Update - now it's obvious why he sticks to rugby betting and not horse racing - a nice little double for The Analyzer as Glasgow(+8) win 38-21 at Scarlets and Munster(-6) beat Leinster 22-5.

Saturday March 28, 2009  This Saturday's EDF Cup semi-final predictions can be seen here. http://rugby4profit.webs.com/apps/forums/topics/show/524167-sat-mar-28-edf-semi-finals?page=last. The Analyzer has changed his mind today (Sat morning) on one of the semis after the teamsheets were revealed. See Forum or click the above link for the updated betting selections. UPDATE - Bang on form again in the EDF Cup semi-finals.

SIX NATIONS - Final Week After last week's 144-1 treble success, The Analyzer has some more advice for the final weekend's Six Nations fixtures. Click the link or visit the Forum. http://rugby4profit.webs.com/apps/forums/topics/show/503774-final-week-6-nations-selections?page=last

SIX NATIONS - Final Week UPDATE - We end the campaign on a downer as only the Ireland handicap at +3 proves fruitful. The Analyzer was close with the Scotland +13 as they went down by 14 points at Twickenham. He was way off-line with the Italy +18 prediction as they were thumped by a resurgent French side boucing back 50-8 after their humiliation at Twickers last week. We now turn our attention to the EDF Cup next weekend so check back soon.

SIX NATIONS - Week 4 This weekend's handicap bets for March 14th/15th, are now online in the forum at http://rugby4profit.webs.com/apps/forums/topics/show/464426-week-4-selections. The Analyzer has some interesting bets for you. PB waits on BIG payout!

SIX NATIONS - Week 4 UPDATE - The Analyzer STRIKES GOLD!...see 'Past Results'.

The bet that netted PB a cool £1,456 return for a £10 stake.

March 6th-8th  No confident selections this weekend with the Six Nations break taking precedence. Check back next Friday 13th March for the Analyzer's top hits for Week 4 of the Six Nations.

SIX NATIONS - Week 3 The word according to PB: Wales -2 (Bet365, Totesport, BetFred, Skybet, Ladbrokes, Corals, Hills) at France, England +9 (Totesport, Skybet) at Ireland and Scotland -8 at home to Italy. Singles and a Treble. Total Points bets: France v Wales Over 37.5 5/6 (SportingBet), Ireland v England Under 39.5 10/11 (Sportingbet) and Scotland v Italy Over 37.5 5/6 (888Sports, BlueSquare). Singles and a Treble.

Week 3 Update  After a bad start, the selections rallied to register 50% hit rate. The initial game in Paris saw the Wales -2 tip fade after a good start. Handicaps subsequently recovered with Scotland -8 and England +9 both winning. Total points showed 1from 3. The elusive treble is coming nearer for sure!

Sunday 22nd February 2009 PB recommends the Newport/Gwent Dragons 10/11 off scratch at home to Ulster. See Forum. Result 26-16 to the Dragons.

SIX NATIONS - Week 2 PB draws a blank. A bad weekend for The Analyzer but as he says, this is a longterm strategy. Upwards and onwards to Week 3.

Our strongest bet so far this year, Sunday 25th January - Edinburgh +18 (Bet365, 888Sport, BlueSq) away to Leinster KO 1pm. 95% Strength. Odds 10/11. Result: Leinster 12-3 Edinburgh, P.B makes another profit. See Forum for timed post.

Friday 23rd January. 2 out of 2 tonight with Cardiff Blues 62-20 winners (at -40pts) at home to Calvisano, while Biarritz (at +1) comfortably overcame Gloucester 24-10.                                                                                                                                                        Sat 3rd Jan 2009. Analyzer gets 7 from 7 from his day's Handicap selections for the Guinness Premiership(3), French Top 14(3) and Magners League(1). £10 accumulator pays £924! See 'Selections' page

Fri 9th Jan 2009. 5 out of 6 for the Analyzer. Only Ospreys -2 at home to Munster in the Magners League letting us down, Munster winning 25-21. The 20% accumulator just fails but the singles put us in overall profit. Roll on the 6 Nations!
